Arusha National Park
Arusha National Park is one of Tanzania’s most beautiful and diverse national parks, located just a short drive from Arusha City. The park is famous for its spectacular landscapes, peaceful atmosphere, and views of Mount Meru, Tanzania’s second-highest mountain. It offers visitors an excellent opportunity to experience nature, wildlife, and stunning scenery in one destination.
The park features a variety of landscapes, including lush montane forests, open grasslands, volcanic terrain, and the beautiful Momella Lakes. Visitors can enjoy scenic game drives and spot animals such as giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, warthogs, monkeys, and many species of birds. The park is also home to the impressive black-and-white colobus monkey, which can often be seen in the forest.
Arusha National Park offers more than traditional game drives. Visitors can enjoy walking safaris accompanied by trained guides, canoeing on Momella Lakes, and hiking through the forest and mountain landscapes.
